About

About Home Care Pembroke Park

We arrange one thing: trained home health aides working in private homes. Here is how the aides are chosen, how the plan gets written, and who you speak to when something is wrong.

What we are, plainly

Home Care Pembroke Park arranges non-medical care in people's own homes. Personal care, companionship, mobility support, meals and the housekeeping that keeps a home safe to live in. Care is arranged through an AHCA licensed provider, and every assignment runs to a written care plan.

We do not run a facility, we do not provide skilled nursing, and we do not route your call to a national centre in another state. If something clinical is needed, we will tell you so rather than stretch what an aide is allowed to do — that boundary is the whole point of doing one thing properly.

How we work

The four things that decide whether home care helps or merely happens.

01

Who we put in a house

Aides are background-checked and reference-checked before they are assigned, and trained before they take a plan. We would rather tell a family we cannot cover Thursday than cover it with somebody we do not know.

02

The plan comes before the first shift

Somebody visits the house. They look at the bathroom, watch how your parent stands up, ask what the mornings are like now. What they write down is what the aide does on day one.

03

Somebody is supervising

Schedules are watched, visits are checked, and there is a named person to call when something is not right. An aide working unsupervised in a private home is how care quietly goes wrong.

04

Nothing about money is a surprise

The hourly rate, the minimum shift and what the hours include are agreed before care starts, and the hours can move up or down as the situation does.

Ask us the awkward questions

How are the aides vetted. What happens if we do not get on with ours. What it costs. Those are the right questions, and you should ask them of every agency you call.
